In 2020, Every Story Matters organises 15 workshops for librarians and teachers. In various libraries in Portugal we will focus on bibliodiversity. How can reading mediators offer a plurality of voices to their readers? What limitations do they face?

School workshops

5 workshops in digital storytelling, training around 50 children and young-adults. 

The workshops will enhance the understanding of the importance of (inclusion) in the society structure. 

It will give the students basic understanding of digital narratives and storytelling.

Each student will create a short story on an A4 paper, combining drawing, text writing, and multimedia content using the augmented reality technique.

The augmented reality stories of the children will be published on a digital library online in everystorymatters.eu.

Talent development programme

1/02/2020- 23/10/2022

This programme will guide six talented writers and illustrators from six different European countries to produce inclusive stories for children. Each participant will be matched to a mentor, who is an experienced author or illustrator. During the programme, the participants will follow workshops and online masterclasses to deepen their knowledge of inclusive storytelling.

Online masterclasses - Talent Development Programme
